We are delighted to announce the launch of the Tax Journal Indirect Tax Awards, which will take place on 15 October 2009 at the Glaziers Hall in London. In the second year of these awards, we will be making presentations in three categories: - Outstanding contribution to indirect tax - Rising star within indirect tax - Indirect tax writer of the year The awards are organised by teams within LexisNexis and our events organiser RBI. We are very grateful to all those involved for all that they have done to make the awards so successful, and to the judges for their hard work in considering each of the applications and selecting worthy winners of this year’s awards. We are particularly grateful to our sponsors, McGrigors and BLT for their untiring support for the Indirect Tax Awards in their first year, and without whom these new awards would not have been possible. Everyone here at Tax Journal has been so pleased by the reception of these new awards, and are looking forward to the event, which we hope will be the first of many. |
